Show tracks for Sat. Feb. 26/11

We wrap up Black History Month with our last all British tribute. We feature some reggae, ska and drum 'n' bass for the last feature. Aswad, Rhoda Dakar and Roni Size make up the set.
International Women's Day is next up. So we are going to do 2 tributes. On the Saturday before (next week) with British solo ladies and one the Saturday after with the British girl groups. Tune in to hear which fabulous ladies get picked.
A special Rewind! is in the works. I hope to have a couple special guests in the studio. Looking for this to be on March 19th but I'll inform you as the fate draws closer.

Show tracks for Sat. Feb. 19/11

A great show for a special holiday, Radiohead Day! I didn't know they had their own day. I must have missed that Seriously, is anyone else sick of the interwebs blog buzz over this new lp yet? And it's only day 2 of the digital release. What's going to happen when the cd drops? Will they call a moment of silence worldwide? lol So I figured what the hell play a track off the new "best album in the world ever".
Tonight also featured looks at 3 new lps from Yuck, The Answering Machine and Frankie & The Heartstrings in the lp session proper.
Also featured is another installment for Black History Month. Running out of British born artists to feature. But there is only 1 week left in February.

As of the time this was written, the archives were still down. I know this is frustrating. If you can you'll have to stream the show live until they can get the archives going again. I hope this soon. I wish I could do something to help the situation. Let's hope CJAM can sort out the problem a little quicker.
