St. Patrick's Day show tracks for Sat. Mar. 17/12

So is today International Hangover Day then? With St. Patrick's Day being on a Saturday this year, I suppose the parties had to be even more epic with today being a day off for most. Hope you all got home safe and sound.

As you can tell by the setlist we went heavy on the Irish artists last night. It even worked out that the LP Session was an Irish artist, The Frank & Walters. Even a couple of the new releases were Irish as well.
Even if you aren't Irish I hope you enjoyed the show. But I promise that's the last theme show for a while. I'm exhausted planning all these theme shows. Hopefully, next Saturday isn't International Brown Haired People Who Own Chinchillas Day...where am I going to find music for that! lol

Still managed to get in a few new releases as well. Including new music from The School (Thanks Liz!), Veronica Falls, Dexys, Tall Ships and more.

  1. Another beauty of a show, Marc.
Thanks for posting the Dexys here... I'm listening to it now... as it builds, brick by brick, into something unique and unheard of ... do you get what I mean? Rowland twists music and lyrics into this strange and honest thing, deeply sad and so oddly funny too. Maybe it shouldn't work and yet it does. By the end it works beautifully. So Dexys...
Aye aye yi yi yiyi yi yi yah
I love the awkward Brit rapping, one of the legacies of punk/post punk.
